QA Engineer - SET2

As a Software Test Engineer at Smallcase, you will play a key role in testing and automating test cases for the products we develop. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting performance testing to ensure the overall stability and scalability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse Software Specifications: Understand and review software system specifications to design appropriate performance tests.
• Taking ownership of Products and releases, thus ensuring a high-quality product
• Conduct Performance Testing: Ensure the system’s reliability, capacity, and scalability through rigorous testing.
• Identify Bottlenecks: Detect potential system bottlenecks and suggest improvements to the Engineering team.
• Work closely with other team members on Designing Automation Framework which is more reliable.
• Develop Test Cases: Create and execute performance test cases and scripts covering various scenarios.
• You will be working on BE testing with APIs and Automating the same
• Analyse Results: Evaluate test results and collaborate with development teams to address any issues.
• Generate Reports: Prepare detailed performance testing and API Automation reports and present insights to the team
• Taking ownership of Products and releases thus ensuring high-quality product
• Able to work independently and with the team to successfully deliver test plans and cases.
• To write Test Scripts which are maintainable, API-driven and reusable.
• To analyse and create automation frameworks suitable for projects
• Analyse test logs; create test reports and coordinate with stakeholders.

Requirements    

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer, with strong knowledge of Load/Performance Testing and API Automation (RestAssured).
• Strong Analytical Skills and ability to analyse test results and identify performance issues.
• Strong Manual testing Skills and ability to understand the Product on how it works on BackEnd
• Ability to write Test Cases and Test scopes with maximum coverage as Possible
• Strong knowledge in API testing using Postman
• Experience in creating Test Automation Framework from Scratch is a plus
• Proficiency in any of the Programming Languages(JAVA is a Plus)
• Experience in running Automation tests using Jenkins pipeline
