The smallcase Publisher platform enables manufacturers (licensed research firms and advisors) productize their research as smallcases and scale their practice while the platform handles investor communication, reporting, fee collection & operational workflows. The platform also enables distributors to access these smallcases & offer these as transparent investment products to their client base

We are looking for a Business Owner to build the business for Publisher ensuring the ideal mix of manufacturers & distributors using the platform and own the P&L for the product line


  • Recruit, lead and manage the smallcase Publisher team - including product, engineering, sales & account management 

  • Set a clear vision for the business development team and lead them to achieve the same

  • Leverage industry knowledge & relationships to build thoughtful partnership & product strategies with manufacturers and distributors to create more value for retail investors & smallcase

  • Craft a strategy in partnership with smallcase manufacturers & distributors to increase their assets under management and execute the strategy with a proper execution plan

  • Own the P&L and key metrics for the Publisher offering 

  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the Publisher offering


  • 3+ years of work experience in a sales/partnerships role in a fast-growing enterprise, preferably in the asset/wealth management or advisory industry 

  • Broad and deep experience executing partnership strategies to build unique product experiences & go-to-market models

  • Proven track record of building and leading business development/sales teams in product-centric environments

  • Strong knowledge of the asset management/advisory and distribution ecosystem and relationships with leading advisors, research firms & portfolio managers
